What have our preschoolers been up to recently?

The Hambrook Hedgehogs library is up and running.  Children have been able to spend time with their key worker looking at a selection of books and choosing one to take home with them.  We are going to be adding further titles to our library over the coming months.

We have continued to spend much of our time outside and the children have enjoyed making interesting pictures from the leaves and flowers they have gathered from our garden.  These are on display in the creative room.

Children have begun taking turns to bring home Harry and Harriet (our fluffy hedgehog toys) with them for a few days.  We have enjoyed reading about their adventures, recorded by parents in an accompanying book and the children are keen to talk about what they have done with the hedgehogs.  This has been a great opportunity to encourage conversation and for children to share information about their families and home life.
