Two New Hedgehogs

This week saw two new arrivals at Hambrook Hedgehogs - two hedgehog soft toys who sit in the front window to wave hello and goodbye to everyone who has been coming and going.

We love the fat round hedgehog but with all the activities we've got planned here at Hambrook Pre-School and After School Club he'll soon be getting into shape!

Painting in the Messy Room

The flurry of activity has continued this week with friends and family all chipping in to help out with different projects. The main room has been painted along with the "messy room", the hall way, the lunch room and the two after school club rooms. There's just the office to go along with a few areas requiring gloss paint.

On the right you can see the "messy room" with the step ladder in it. The low sink makes this room perfect for messy activities like painting, gluing and water based learning.

Tasks Getting Completed

A recent shopping trip has seen the home acquire new crockery, curtains, rugs and a few ornaments. Tasks that need to be done have been written on post-it notes and attached to one of the notice boards. When one job is finished we can grab another task to get on with.

Thanks to everyone who has chipped in to help so far. It really has been appreciated.
