Marie Curie Fundraising

We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents who gave donations for the beautiful daffodils the children grew.  We were pleased with how well the daffodils grew despite the weather.  The children also enjoyed making and eating pretty daffodil cakes too.

Over the UK more than 330,000 children from over 3,000 schools and groups planted their own daffodil bulb and watched them bloom in spring. Your child’s Mini Pot contribution has helped us raise £120.24.
Funds raised from the activity will help Marie Curie Nurses care for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their homes and provide emotional support for their families. The care they provide is totally free so thank you again for your support.
