Meet "BeeBot" the latest addition to our IT equipment. He is a programmable robot in the shape of a bee.
The children spent time taking turns to programme the robot to move forward, backwards, left and right to move him along squares on the board.  Each square has a different shape and colour combination allowing us to learn our colours and shapes whilst practicing our counting and direction skills.

With winter upon us we tried our hand at making our own snowmen. Notice the "carrot" noses and the special scarves!  We were learning a snowman song for our parent open mornings in December.

We made our own gingerbread. We used a gingerbread man cutter and then decorated the biscuits to turn them into "red nosed reindeer", using cherries for the nose, raisins for eyes and chocolate on the antlers.

Here is a selection of the Christmas decorations the children made.  Lots of lovely smells in Hedgehogs during term 2.
